Pau d'Arco 1 lb. Bulk Powder

Pau d’Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa) inner bark  – 16 oz. (1 lb.) bulk powder. 

Please note that due to powder density, this product may ship in one double poly bag or 2 containers of 8 oz. each.

Preparations:

The inner bark of Pau d’Arco is available in the form of a tincture. Traditionally, Pau d’Arco is prepared as a decoction. 

To prepare a decoction, 2 tbsp. of the powdered inner bark is used for each 3 cups of water. Bring water to a boil in an open ceramic pot, allow the water to cool slightly, and then add the powder. Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low and place the lid on the pot. Allow the mixture to simmer for 20 minutes. Pour the mixture through a fine strainer and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
