Description
Graviola (Annona muricata) 4:1 Leaf and 4:1 Fruit blend (Graviola Max), 1 lb. 10-bottle equivalent.
Preparations
The leaves of Graviola are taken in the form of a tincture, tea (infusion), and in capsules. Although used in many parts of the tropics, the leaves are traditionally prepared in the Andes of Peru and Amazon region of Brazil and as a tea taken at a dosage of 1 cup, 3 times daily.
To prepare the tea, place 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag. Allow the powder to steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and leave it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well sealed container.
