Epazote 1 lb. Bulk Powder

Epazote (Chenopodium ambrosioides) leaves – 16 oz. (1 lb.) bulk powder. 

Please note that due to powder density, this product may ship in one double poly bag or 2 containers of 8 oz. each. 

Bulk orders are prepared once a week. Each order is prepared in the order it is received. Cut-off time for bulk orders is each Thursday at 10 AM EST. Orders received after 10 AM EST ship the following week. Thank you for your understanding. 

Preparations

The leaves of Epazote are traditionally taken in the form of a decoction at a daily dosage of half a cup. 

To prepare a decoction of Epazote, add 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves to each 8 oz. of water. Using medium-high heat, bring water to a boil in an open ceramic pot and then add the powder. Reduce the heat to medium-low and place the lid on the pot. Allow the mixture to simmer for 20 minutes. Pour the mixture through a fine strainer and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
