Damiana 1 Lb. Bulk Powder

Damiana (Turnera diffusa; syn. T. aphrodisiaca) leaves – 16 oz. (1 lb.) bulk powder. 

Please note that due to powder density, this product may ship in one double poly bag or 2 containers of 8 oz. each.

Preparations

The leaves of Damiana are taken in the form of an infusion (tea), fluid extract, and in capsules. 

Traditionally, the leaves of Damiana were taken as an infusion at a dosage of 2–3 cups daily. To prepare the infusion, place 2–4 g of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 1 cup of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well sealed container.
