Description
Clavo huasca (Tynanthus parunensis) bark – 16 oz. (1 lb.) bulk powder.
Preparations
Clavo Huasca, a woody vine (liana) with a clove-like odor, is traditionally taken in the form of a tincture or infusion (tea). For the infusion, 1 cup may be taken 2 times daily.
To prepare an infusion of Clavo Huasca, place 1 tsp. of the powdered bark in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
Caution: Not for internal use during pregnancy or lactation. If you are taking medications or have a medical condition, consult with a health care professional before use. Keep this product out of the reach of children.
