Buckthorn - Supports Bowel Function*

Botanical Name: Frangula alnus

Part Used: Bark

Fresh/Dry: Dried

Concentration: 1:4

Other Ingredients: Certified Organic alcohol, distilled water

Suggested Use
20-50 drops (1-2.5 mL) in juice or water. Take once per day in the evening.

Contraindications
Contains Buckthorn. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools or abdominal pain; Buckthorn may worsen condition. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or are pregnant, nursing or taking medication.

About Buckthorn
The bark of buckthorn needs to be aged for one year. The fresh bark is much too irritating for internal use. After it has been aged for the appropriate amount of time, it can be used to promote normal bowel function.
