Preparations

An infusion (tea) of the powdered aerial parts is taken at a dosage of half a cup, 2 to 3 times daily. 

To prepare the infusion, place 1 tsp. of the powder in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow it steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking.
