Preparation

The leaves of Embauba are traditionally taken in the form of an infusion (tea) - 1 cup, 2 to 3 times daily. As an alternative to tea, you can encapsulate the powder or make a tincture.

To prepare an infusion of Embauba, place 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well sealed container.

Advisory: Not for internal use during pregnancy or lactation. If you are taking medications or have a medical condition, consult with a health care professional before use. Keep this product out of the reach of children.
