Amor Seco is taken in the form a tincture, an infusion (tea), and in capsules. Traditionally, Amor Seco is prepared as an infusion taken at a suggested dosage of 1 cup, 1 to 3 times daily. 

To prepare an infusion of Amor Seco, place 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow it steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking.
